While The Wirecutter has been known to highlight the "best" equipment for certain circumstances through research and testing, bigger-coffee-nut-than-I-am, Matt Buchanan, opens his Wirecutter coffee equipment post with this true statement:
"There is no one 'best' method of making coffee. So, there is no best gear for making coffee."
Matt then reviews what he feels to be the best equipment for this tastebuds. From my experiences, it's a pretty good recommendation.
