So with Verizon now showing 4G on some phones despite being connected to a "3G" network, is it safe to say that 4G no longer refers to:
"the 4th generation network"
but rather:
"the fallback to the 3G network since that's what every other damn network calls it now"?
I initially blame T-Mobile for trying to trick users — but 'equal blame' + interest goes to AT&T for following suit.
Stupid marketing departments.
